Bookshop Wanders: They Can Be Anywhere

The silence of people, the smell of coffee, the shuffling of books, and dinging of the door as more people came in; this is what the average person thinks a book store is like. Though some bookstores are like that many can be loud or not have access to coffee at the ready. There are place that you can find and buy books that don’t have to strictly be selling books.
In the back corner of the quiet Target in Tulsa Hills and past all the toys and music aisles there is a glimpse of the books aisles.
The first aisle of books being shown is all of the romance books and romantasy, a type of romance and fantasy mix in books, which all are really popular amongst book readers right now. Signs over books continuously promoting a membership deal with Target.
The small section of Manga at the bottom of the rack mixed in with all the rest of the romance books.
In the middle school book section there is a row of every single Diary of a Wimpy Kid that has ever come out including the new one that came out a couple of months ago.
An end shelf dedicated straight to books that are popular on BookTok, a popular section of Tik-Tok to book readers and future authors to be spotted.
Near the front of the store a full table filled with a different type of special edition books with sprayed edges, where there is a color or design on the outside pages of the book in Book-A-Million.
Books-A-Million has not just a table but multiple shelves dedicated to BookTok ranging from a #FYP shelf to a Spicy shelf.
A display with book collectibles and decorations for rooms or just to use while also still showing books of popular series.

A table filled with all different types of Manga rather it be a single one or has multiple manga books in one. This doesn’t include the two other shelves they have of Manga.
Rows and rows of bargained price books that is near the back of store in a corner having every genre to read from.
In the very back of the store a wall filled with magazines, newspapers, and coloring books.
In the back of Walmart near the toys and electronics section of the store as a baby cries there is Fantasy and adult books hidden in the back of the book section, so no little kids can accidentally stumble on them.
In the back of the book section on the bottom row is a few boxed sets of books all shoved in and hidden.
In the row before last there is a small section of books written by black authors hidden in all of the romance and some young adult books.
